Clearing the Confusion of Internet Marketing

May 12th, 2010 Bob Yeager 1 comment

A few days ago, one of our WEST Students (Brent) pointed out that many of my own personal sites and blogs don’t reflect what I teach in WEST. Then again, this morning Brent sent another email to me, enhancing upon the original response I had given him.

As I sat this morning, and thought about Brent’s confusion, I consider that others may be facing the same confusion of Internet marketing and I could possibly clarify what you should focus on and why some things that I do NOW… are different compared to what you should do at the start of your internet business and what your business model’s needs are.

Hope this video helps and thank you, Brent, for sending your awesome questions. I know the other WEST students appreciate it as much as I do.

If you are new to Internet marketing and there is a lot of confusion in internet marketing you are currently facing, check out the WEST Program at www.TheWESTProgram.com

Reasons that Internet Marketers Should Blog

May 12th, 2010 Bob Yeager No comments

Your competitors are blogging right now as we speak, this is obvious even to new marketers. Blogging has really become popular on the internet. You might even have read a few blogs regularly. You really need to start a blog. Its a very fast and easy process. Plus not to mention the small monetary cost on your part. Also, blogging requires no technical expertise of any kind. There is nothing to hold you back. Blogging can be used for many reasons and one of them is making money. Why should your internet business have a blog? Find out more below!

Blogs can help you increase your online income. As your blog becomes more popular, you could find yourself being contacted by people seeking to sponsor your blog posts. You have the final say in how much you want to charge sponsors to place their ads at the header or footer of your blog posts. You could decide to keep these sections of your blog posts to promote your own products. What if you could sell just two sponsored blog posts every week for $30 per post. This could mean an extra $240 a month for you. Now think about offering that same ad space to sponsors for every blog post you publish to your blog over five days a week. That could represent an additional $150 a week, or $600 per month from your blogging activities. The possibilities for sponsorship are endless!

One f the easiest ways to monetize a list is by setting up a blog with interesting information and allowing the to access more by signing up to your paid newsletter. You don’t have to charge a lot of money for your subscription. Even at $1 -2 per sale you can bring in a substantial income. Imagine that you send out a newsletter twice a month at $1 per newsletter. There are 150 interested in your newsletter. You have just created a monthly income stream of $300 dollars for something that requires very little maintenance. As an internet marketer you should always be looking for ways to make money – this is a great one!

You can use blogging to increase the number of links you have to your products. Some people will advise that you should have a separate blog for each product, but you can use one blog to promote them all in the same place. By using sidebar, post footer and header ads, it’s easy to link to several products and sales pages. This builds up the number of links you have to those pages, which makes them rank higher in the search engines. You’ll also be building your authority with such sites as technorati and alexa, which could both become important if you choose to sell your sites at a later date.

This barely scratches the blogging surface. Indeed, blogging is one of the more effective means of building a huge opt-in list and building a business that just keeps growing. A marketer that doesn’t catch on to new ways of doing things will not be able to compete online; so take advantage of anything that can give you a competitive edge. You can achieve this and more with blogging. It’s not all about the money; blogging is fun. Well, you have finally found your fun way to make money. Blogging = fun and money.

Get Targeted Traffic and Organic Search Engine Listings

November 9th, 2009 Bob Yeager No comments

The mystery that seems to be “plaguing” the internet is…

“How do I get more traffic and generate more sales in my internet business?”

It’s actually not a mistery, more of a misguided rumour of what is needed, and the proper approach to getting the results you will NEED, instead of what you THINK you need.

You need to know how to use unique content to get traffic to your website to make more sales and get search engine listings for a more
targeted list of customers.

Let me start with a short story.

Bob Yeager here. So, for the past two weeks, since the Personal Development RAW workshop, I’ve been reading emails. I swear, if I didn’t delete 90% of them, I’d do nothing but that. Thing is, I’m finding a lot of people sending me emails telling me how my financial situation isn’t what it could be… hmmm, yes it isbobyeager in Uncategorized

You should read the whole article.
