Tips for Marketing Pizza and a Dancing Chicken?

October 23rd, 2009 Bob Yeager No comments

Thriller Reincarnated through a Dancing Chicken!

By far, this has to be one of the most original marketing schemes that I’ve seen on a sidewalk outside a pizza joint. In dire economic times, it’s important to be creative with your marketing. From the guys that flip the signs next to highways, to the folks who dress up in funny costumes outside the Liberty Mutual storefronts, none of them could possibly compare to the dancing chicken outside Domino’s Pizza in Missouri.

If you have an interesting marketing stunt that YOU are pulling for your business, shoot a video of it and I’ll be sure to publicize it on our blog. Let me send some traffic to you… for being creative and original in your marketing. Here’s the deal:

You must have a unique spin to your marketing

You have to have a REAL business, no rediculous internet scams or money schemes

…and… you MUST post the video to You Tube and email me the link where I can see it.

If you have it in you to be a creative entrepreneur and you got the guts to beat the chicken, simply post a comment below with your video link and I’ll write and article around the video and publicize it for you. By the way, be sure to post the link to your website or your business information in the description area of your YouTube video.

I’m going to be chosing the top 5 videos to market and drive traffic to!

A Surefire System to Cause Your Business to Be in the Top 100 Failures of 2010

September 21st, 2009 Bob Yeager No comments

Ok, so everyone says to outsource, build a team, get JV partners and I would agree.

But… there is a BIG piece missing from the equation, two pieces actually.

Piece number one: Be willing to fire more than you hire.

Trust me, I’ve run companies with over 1200 sales professionals under my guidance.

My motto was gently hire and aggressively fire until you had the best team available. That way, you knew that you had a hardworking, smart, aggressive team of sales professionals who take your business as serious as you take your own. You must be OK with the fact that if someone is not doing the job they are cut out for… then you must cut them out of the
equation.

I’ve been hit with a lot of comments saying, “Bob, but what if that person has been with you for years?” Well, if that’s the case then they should know that their paycheck depends upon their efforts and productivity and that the success of your business is important to you as it should be to them.

Don’t be airy fairy about this… business is business. Keep the main thing the main thing.

Think about it, if you went to a restaurant and paid $75 for a lobster steak dinner and it came back cold, black and tasted like shit… would you pitch a bitch about it?

Of course you would. Then, Why in God’s name would you not treat your business with the same level of respect as you do your gourmet appetite?

Piece number two: If a family member has no specialized talent to contribute to your business, then they don’t work for your business.

One of the biggest downfalls of a business is having family work within the business. There are many folks that would disagree with me. But think about this. When you hire a stranger, who has specialized skills and you interview them, they are trained by your company and they know that they report to you for the big decisions… you have their respect and they will work to make sure you are happy… so that they get the big pay raise and are praised from the work they have done.

When your big brother is working for you, you are not boss man… you are little bro or sis. Many times, even if it is not said outright, they will doubt your decision making processes, they will begin to reinvent your business without your permission… and if they have absolutely no specialized skills to offer your business… they are simply taking up space and your ROI on employees wages begins to take it’s toll on your business.

Let’s get business here. Your business is a machine that is supposed to be working for you and for your customers. Take a look around at your business today. Who is working with you or for you that has made no effort to create more productivity or profit. Who is it, within your business, that has not contributed to your bottom line?

Now, you can go one of two routes here. Sit them down and explain what you expect to see from them within the next week or two or, if you’ve already done this with them… replace them and move forward.

My apologies if anyone thinks this post is too harsh, but there IS a big reason for a global recession and it has a lot to do with the people in the productivity and decision making departments of large and small companies being inadequate for the job.

Get your people to take forward moving action to grow your business on a global scale this year, or at least become a top competitor in your local market space. Want a team that can fulfill your marketing needs… http://www.eWebMarketingManagement.com

Making Internet Success Available to More People

September 20th, 2009 Bob Yeager 1 comment

If You Were Given an Irresistible Offer that Could Virtually Guarantee Your Success… Would You Use It?

This question has been racking my brain for some time now. You see, I have an inner circle of marketing buddies that continuously hit me with stats stating that consumers that purchase success development and Internet Marketing Courses rarely ever use them. Actually, statistically speaking, 99% of them actually finish the course and under 1% of them actually take action if they do finish the course.

That to me is pretty sad, so I told my marketing buddies that perhaps it has to do with the fact that most online and entrepreneurial business people are spending too much on the education and not focusing their dollars on their marketing and business budget. Also, I believe that many of these people tend to think that an internet business doesn’t cost anything to run. That’s where most of them are failing.

ALL businesses cost something to grow and generate a regular income. Now, the trick is to reduce fixed costs, meaning costs that accrue on a regular basis no matter if you turn a profit or not… and keep most of your costs at a variable level, which means you only pay if you need to.

I also told them that there is a huge influx of super gurus taking advantage of the marketing world. If you are going to design a course that teaches people how to do a product launch, then rightfully you must teach people how to create a product or find someone else’s product as an affiliate. Equally, if you are going to teach some one to find some one’s affiliate product to market or create their own, you must also teach them to find the market (the product is insignificant if there is no market to sell to!)

If this is the case, we must also teach them to build to proper marketing vehicles to communicate with that market and teach them to find the proper terms, language and words that people are looking for… so that their market will actually find them in the search engines. OH… there’s another one.

If you are going to teach them all of the above, then you must be responsible for teaching them how to show up in the search engines and how to rise above any and all competition that exists. Wait a second… if people are going to have the confidence to do all of that, then isn’t it safe to assume that they will need some level of personal growth training, while they are learning the business development stuff.

Further, isn’t it also safe to assume that folks will need to learn methods of outsourcing, finding Joint Venture Partners, creating charitable vehicles and continuous ways to grow their business and stay ahead of their competition? Even more important… shouldn’t WE, as their mentors, show them the proper place to start the whole process… down to the primordial, fundamental beginnings… so as to leave absolutely nothing to guess work?

Wouldn’t it even be safe to assume, going back to the beginning of this post, that we should be the ones to make such a program affordable to more people… so that more people can reap the benefits of such an education?

The response I got from my colleagues? “Bob… that would be too much work and how could anyone ever turn a profit from that? The costs of manufacturing the product, alone, would be astronomical… let alone the time it would take someone to educate themselves to teach the process AND create the course.”

I said… muahahahah… watch the video below!

Billy Mays Dies at 50: As Seen On TV Spokesman

June 29th, 2009 Bob Yeager 2 comments

Billy Mays: An Icon in Direct Television Marketing Dies at 50

Today, at the age of 50, the As Seen on TV and Pitchman Superstar spokes person, Billy Mays was found dead in his home. This is the man that was responsible for me buying buckets of Oxi Clean and a ton of steak knives.

More importantly, although many may not realize, Billy Mays is responsible for much of the video marketing that goes on today, where internet marketers consistently do product presentations on all of your favorite video sharing networks.

Yesterday, a US Airways Flight had landed in quite a traumatic way, when the front landing gear tire basically went flat. Many of the passengers were tossled about and alot of stuff dropped on their heads. Mays complained late yesterday evening, to his wife, that he wasn’t feeling well. He was one of the passengers that had endured head injuries on that flight.

This morning, at 7:45 EST Mays was found dead in his home.

A few weeks ago, a martial arts icon of mine, David Carradine was found dead in his apartment. Thursday, my childhood crush Farrah Fawcett lost her long battle with cancer. On that same day, at the age of 50, the man who inspired me to break into the music industry at a young age, Michael Jackson suffered an untimely death. Now, today… I morn the loss of a man who inspired me to focus on using video for marketing online… in order to add entertainment to the dry world of marketing and selling.

This has been a roller coaster month of emotion for many industries and for the loss of so many unique icons in my life.

Success Lesson through Fever Induced Thought

June 28th, 2009 Bob Yeager 1 comment

Entrepreneurial Success Lesson Because of a Fever?

It’s funny. Last week I had this major fever that stopped me dead in my tracks. I didn’t feel like moving, didn’t want to do anything and I slept for over 14 hours straight. When I woke up, I got this burst of inspiration. You see, after having been sick for over 7 1/2 years with cancer, I tend to pay close attention to what my body is telling me.

With that, last week I thought to myself, “What caused this fever when it was the beginning of summer, I didn’t do anything that could make me sick and nothing about my diet could’ve induced this fever. But, something was happening that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around. It was a growth period of thought and insight.

Success Development Creates a Pinnacle Video Lesson

As I began to feel better I started thinking to myself, “What could I teach my subscribers about this experience and how to develop success in their lives.” It hit me like a ton of bricks. Growing to each new phase of understanding, knowledge and implementation comes from being ready for change and new phases of development.

I recorded this video showing you all of the different people who have had a direct, or indirect, impact on my success and what you can realize through this process. After this video, there are two other videos that I will take you through. Be warned, this process may take up to almost 2 hours of content rich success development. Pay close attention to the lessons contained here, they could literally change your life (NO JOKE!).

Take a look at this video and then click through to the next lesson:

Now that you have endured my success rant… take a short break and click through to this next video lesson to move on through this free training: CLICK HERE
