Real Internet Business: Hoax or Myth

Did you catch it? Real Internet Business “HOAX” or “MYTH” At first I didn’t do it on purpose, just sounded like a good title, but then I realized that a hoax is something that somebody has made up and a myth is a story that may or may not have been fabricated or over exagerated.

Real internet business is neither a hoax or a myth, simply real business. When you are starting out online, the first thing that you should realize is that there are two types of people doing legitimate business out there.

1. Those who want to make a few hundred or thousand dollars more a month with a hobby business
2. Those who want to make an extra 5, 6, or 7 figures a year.

Personally, when I started out online, I just didn’t want to have to scrounge for change, recycle aluminum cans or find the welfare check in the mailbox any more. I wanted to provide for my family and just start a nice quaint little business. The funny thing was, I found out quickly that if you work as diligently in an online business, as you do in an offline business, you could amass a fortune pretty quick.

I mean, I’ve owned brick and mortar and sales businesses offline, but when I got started on the internet, I really didn’t know what everybody was whining about. Seriously, for the most part everybody’s make money course or product can show you how to do something and get certain results.

It may be a different set of results than what you are looking for, but results none the less. There are sales conversions and traffic, search engine listings and comments and the list goes on and on.

Funny thing is, when you see that one thing that you do in your internet business increases your sales conversions, perhaps doing a bit more of that one thing or even creating more of those things that you did that to… could possibly increase your sales again.

It’s all about building sites, generating content and doing the math right. You have to be creating content if you’re online. You also have to learn some techy stuff, but nothing that can’t be learned by my cousin Joe Bill Bob who eats his own ear wax… part of the family is from WAY up in the hills

But you get my point. A real internet business is not about glam, shiny cars and lounging on a beach all day. A real internet business is about ethics, morals and doing the job well and doing it right.
