I usually use it in video if it's going to be a product. sometime sI rewrite the PLR and turn it into articles and blog posts. Start off with the highest quality that you can find. Look for sites that offer a sample of their work. Re-writing is a must. As you said, you can also use it as inspiration for unique content.
